Step one, do art.

It's true that if you want to be successful as [anything] you have to be consistent in doing that thing. So I started making these small paintings every day, or as close to every day as I can. It's sort of like an independent 100 Day Project. These are all 5x7" acrylic on canvas sheets. I've got a lot of them for sale for $50 each (matted to 8x10") at my Etsy shop, though eventually I'll have them for sale on this website. Here are the first ten that I made:
